Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with President Trump’s senior advisor and son-in-law Jared Kushner Wednesday morning to talk about resolving the decades-long conflicts between Israel and Palestine.
President Trump has spoken about his desire to create help in the region, saying in an interview with the New York Times in November:
“I would love to be able to be the one that made peace with Israel and the Palestinians…it would be such a great achievement.”
President Trump has enormous confidence in Kushner’s ability to negotiate peace in the area, reportedly telling Kushner in January “If you can’t produce peace in the Middle East, nobody can.”
President Trump has already greatly improved America’s relationship with Israel, and during his meeting with Kushner, Netanyahu spoke glowingly of President Trump’s recent trip to the Middle East, saying he had “made an indelible impression on the people of Israel.”
Netanyahu also told Kushner:
“This is an opportunity to pursue our common goals of security, prosperity, and peace. I know of your efforts and the President’s efforts, and I look forward to working with you to achieve these common goals.”
After Kushner met with Netanyahu and other top Israeli officials, he personally delivered President Trump’s condolences to the family of Hadas Malka, an Israeli police officer who was recently stabbed to death by a Palestinian attacker.
I love hearing stories about how the Trump administration is working hard to protect and defend Israel- it looks like our relationship is stronger than ever! Share this story 10,000 times if you STAND WITH TRUMP and STAND WITH ISRAEL!
